These terms apply when you download LAST LIGHT from this site or use the site. By downloading or playing the game, you accept them.

Free to download and play

download the game from this site,
install it and play it on your own devices,
make backups of it and of your saves,
share screenshots and videos of yourself playing it, and link to this site.

You may not:

sell or rent the game, or charge for access to it,
re-upload or redistribute the zip or the files in it (please link to this site instead, so people always get the current version),
modify it, or decompile or reverse-engineer it, except where the law of your country allows this anyway,
remove or change its copyright and license notices.

The game's text is drawn with the Exo 2 font by Natanael Gama, used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. That license, not these terms, governs the font.

No warranty

LAST LIGHT and this site are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. That includes, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that it is free of bugs, that it works on your device or firmware, or that it will keep being available or updated.

Your device and your data

Installing LAST LIGHT means copying files to your handheld's SD card. Follow the install steps carefully. On a Mac in particular, dragging folders in Finder can replace the card's whole Roms folder. Back up your SD card, or at least your saves, before installing or updating anything.

The game's optional CPU BOOST runs the handheld's CPU at its normal maximum speed while you play. That uses more battery and makes the handheld warmer. It is off unless you turn it on.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the LAST LIGHT authors are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the game or this site. That includes lost data, saves or games, damage to devices or memory cards, and any indirect or consequential loss. Some places do not allow some of these exclusions; there, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Photosensitivity warning

LAST LIGHT and its trailer contain flashing lights, bright flashes and fast-moving patterns. A very small number of people may have seizures when exposed to certain light patterns, even with no history of epilepsy. If you or anyone in your family has had seizures or epilepsy, consult a doctor before playing. Stop playing immediately and see a doctor if you experience dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitching, involuntary movements, loss of awareness, disorientation or convulsions. Play in a well-lit room, and take breaks.

Trademarks

LAST LIGHT is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Miyoo or the Onion OS project. “Miyoo”, “Miyoo Mini Plus” and “Onion OS” belong to their respective owners. We use the names only to say which device and firmware the game runs on.

Feedback

If you send ideas or suggestions, we may use them in the game freely, with no obligation to you. How we handle what you send is explained in the privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be on this page with a new date, and it applies to downloads from then on.
